Hundreds came, many stayed 2 or more hours, immersing themselves in the world of Alveridgea, studying every picture, drawing and bronze, reading the wall cards that explained the story. Some came back, again and again, one couple three times, each time leaving with a smile from ear to ear.

Attendees were greeted by a glowering Bronson, towering over them in the doorway. (Bronson instantly became the most photographed character with an endless queue of Japanese tourists lining up giggling to take pictures. ) Inside, the rustic floorboards, theatrical lighting and huge space, allowed the now extensive collection to be displayed all together in what may be once a off - not many venues can accommodate so much art.

The new bronzes were unveiled at the opening ceremony by Ivan Clarke and Richard Taylor. Already they are receiving rave reviews and considerable advance orders. Those wishing to secure one of these  - either the Sunshine Boys or the bust of The Baron - should get in touch and place a deposit to secure.

The winner of the Gold Almalogue from Leighton Smith's show came with her husband to tour the exhibition, and left beaming, along with the aforementioned Almalogue. A number of Gold Almalogues were sold, as collectors took the opportunity to secure a in one large collectible book, almost all the artwork on display, as well as receiving the whole story, and all the biographies.
