The Platinum Almalogues have arrived!
The Platinum Almalogues have arrived and it is difficult to describe what an amazing work of art they are. 16 months in the design and writing, 3 months to print, 2 months to age and antique, 6 weeks to bind, with craftspeople involved full time at every stage! It has been an immense privilege to watch a highly talented team bring this detailed project to completion. The end result has exceeded everyone's expectations. One of the binders said that she has been waiting all her life for a project like this to come along. It is fantastic to have the Gold Almalogue as a facsimile of the Platinum - the Platinum is almost too good to handle! Graham Burt 3rd May 2007 |
